Rigger Level 2 Certification
Our Rigger Level II CCO certification training is designed to advance Rigger Level I candidates to the next professional level. A Level 2 Rigger is responsible for safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads using specialized rigging equipment and techniques. They possess advanced knowledge of rigging gear, load calculations, and signaling methods to ensure all operations are conducted safely. Typically working in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings, Level 2 Riggers assist crane operators and ensure full compliance with safety regulations.
Candidates must pass both the Written and Practical Examinations to be certified for a five-year period. The Written and Practical Exams may be taken in either order. Candidates have 12 months from the time they pass their first Written or Practical Exam for each rigger level in which to pass the corresponding Written or Practical Exam.

- Identify lift points
- Understand load dynamics and associated hazards
- Estimate weight and center of gravity when calculations are required
- Identify, select, and attach rigging with knowledge of hitch configurations, load angle factors, rigging capacities, and load integrity
